Pocket Guide to Summer wines open on Saturday, plus Rum and Beer tasting Friday
This weekend, guesswork is the enemy - it's all about tasting. On Friday we have Ron Varadero rum open from 4-7pm as well as our 6 Pocket Guide beers from 5-7pm. Then on Saturday we have 7 wines and a cognac open from 11-4. (Full list of beers and wines here). If there's nothing there that knocks your socks off you're probably wearing jandals. Or worse, sports sandals.
Wine deals of the week - Shiraz and Riesling
We have limited stocks of the Riesling Challenge, farcically priced at only $179.95 a dozen. Plus we also have a very small quantity of Coldstream Hills Reserve Shiraz 2006, down from $74.10 to only $29.95. It's a 90 point wine from Parker too so there's no funny business, shenanigans or tomfoolery, just ripper cool-climate shiraz at an even cooler price.
