High Octarine – We have had a new shipment of Glendronach Octarine arrive. This was a superstar value at Dramfest.  Although named like a Bond villain this dram is smoother than Sean Connery, sings like Shirley Bassey and is more toothsome than Ursula Andress. Best of all it’s almost cheaper than a couple of tickets, a large popcorn and two cokes at the movies. Diamonds are Forever, but this won’t be, so be quick.

Trapiche Oak Cask Malbec 2010 – This wine, depending upon vintage, has been a great favourite at Regional over the years and we can report that the 2010 is a cracker. It has good deep colour and lovely bramble/plum flavours mingled with spice and liquorice. Smooth, warm with the balance of a Trapiche artist.
